Secure desktop installer
- Mac: signed and notarized by Apple. The installer opens directly without warnings. Requires an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later). Intel Macs are not supported. To check, open the Apple menu → About This Mac and look at the chip.
- Windows: the installer is code-signed. SmartScreen may still prompt while our publisher reputation builds. Click “More info” → “Run anyway” to continue.
- Local-first: your messages stay on your machine, and incident detection runs there. Cloud AI is opt-in per incident on paid plans, and sends that incident’s messages as written.
- Availability: Cloud AI analysis, the free sample analysis on this site, and the chat assistants are available in the United States and its territories, Canada (except Quebec), Australia and New Zealand only. Work you do on your own computer in the desktop app — importing messages, building your timeline, reviewing incidents and exporting them — is not restricted by where you are, and neither is downloading the app or managing your subscription.
