Evidence Edition
The month it all has to be in one place.
Thousands of messages in. A short list of incidents out.
An incident is a moment the tool flagged, written up in plain language and dated, with the messages it rests on underneath. Evidence Edition turns two years of them into one export you can hand over.
What you get
The evidence export
Unwatermarked, structured for FRE 902(14), with a per-file SHA-256 manifest, Bates numbering and a chain-of-custody log.
- No limit
on the desktop app
No ceiling on messages in a Matter, on how many Matters you keep open, or on how many detailed analyses you run.
- 500
files a month in the browser
The same reviewing allowance Lite has, for the threads that keep arriving while you are assembling the record.
Everything in Lite, plus priority support
The uncapped report, the messages inside every incident, the summary for your attorney, and your questions at the front of the queue.
You pay this the month you produce the record
Not every month of your matter. Lite is for the months you are gathering; this is for the weeks you pull two years of messages together and produce the exhibits. Cancel after, and what you imported stays readable, and your account does not reset.
What you get for it is built in the Mac and Windows app, on your own machine, not assembled on a server and sent to you. It lays your messages out in the structure FRE 902(14) describes and writes a per-file SHA-256 manifest, Bates numbering and a chain-of-custody log beside them. The desktop app takes exports and not screenshots for the same reason: the place the record is built is the place that has to be exact. The CustodyComms mark that Free and Lite exports carry is gone.
What Evidence Edition is not
The export is built in the shape FRE 902(14) describes. It is not a ruling, and no software can tell you what a particular judge will accept — what each authentication rule asks for, and who signs it, is set out on evidence standards.
It does not produce an FRE 902(11) certification. That comes from the record custodian at the source — the messaging service or app your records came from — and is theirs to sign, not ours.
It is also not a promise that it caught everything. The analysis scores your messages against its categories and writes up what that finds — which is not the same as everything a person would notice reading the thread themselves. Open any incident and you can read the messages underneath it, and every message it did not flag is still there in your own export.
Nothing on any plan is legal advice. If you are still collecting rather than filing, Lite is the cheaper plan for that stretch.
Move up the month you need it
Switch plans at any time without starting a second subscription. There is no reason to buy this one before the export is the thing you actually need, and no reason to be assembling it by hand in the week it is due.
Cloud AI analysis, the free sample analysis on this site, and the chat assistants are available in the United States and its territories only. Work you do on your own computer in the desktop app — importing messages, building your timeline, reviewing incidents and exporting them — is not restricted by where you are, and neither is downloading the app or managing your subscription.
