Free
See what your own messages already show.
Thousands of messages in. A short list of incidents out.
An incident is a moment the tool flagged, written up in plain language and dated, with the messages it rests on underneath. On Free, up to three of them are written up from your own export, not a demo, not a sample file.
What you get
- 1
file a day, read in full
Upload one exported conversation and read the whole report. A second run the same day shows a single incident; the next full one opens after midnight UTC.
- 3
incidents written up
The highest-scoring exchanges in plain language, enough to tell whether the tool picks the moments you would have picked. Without an account you get one.
- 350
messages in the desktop app
Messages this time, not files: the desktop counts the individual messages you import. One Matter, five detailed analyses a month, and enough room to see the app work from import to export.
Every format, on the free plan
Nothing is held back for a paid tier. If the tool reads an export at all, it reads it here.
A screenshot is enough to look. Only the export becomes a record.
Message Review will read a screenshot here. It does that by transcribing the picture, which is genuinely useful when the screenshot is all you have — and which nobody can promise is perfect.
The file you download from the app your messages came from is a different thing: the record itself, not a picture of one. That is why the desktop app takes exports and not screenshots: the place evidence gets built is the place that has to be exact. Look with either. Build with the export.
What Free is not
Exports carry a CustodyComms mark, in the browser and in the desktop app. Free is for finding out what your messages show, not for producing the copy you hand to someone else.
If you are reviewing month after month, Lite removes the daily wall. If you need the formatted package, Evidence Edition is the plan that builds it.
It is also not a promise that it caught everything. The analysis scores your messages against its categories and writes up what that finds — which is not the same as everything a person would notice reading the thread themselves. Open any incident and you can read the messages underneath it, and every message it did not flag is still there in your own export.
Nothing on any plan is legal advice, and no software decides what a court will accept.
Bring the worst thread you have
A sample file proves nothing about your matter. Export the conversation you already know by heart, run it once, and see whether the moments it picks are the ones you would have picked. That answer is free and it takes one upload.
Cloud AI analysis, the free sample analysis on this site, and the chat assistants are available in the United States and its territories only. Work you do on your own computer in the desktop app — importing messages, building your timeline, reviewing incidents and exporting them — is not restricted by where you are, and neither is downloading the app or managing your subscription.
