Watch coParenter’s video on YouTube (opens in a new tab)What the transcript holds
One conversation from Messaging, set out as a table: one row for each message. A transcript is usually laid out like this.
Page one is headed Conversation Transcript, with a short notice from coParenter under it.
The columns are the date, the sender and the message. The date column names the time zone, such as Date EST.
Each row gives the date and the time to the second, then the sender’s name, then the words.
Every page ends with Messaging transcript - Created on and the day it was made.
What it becomes in CustodyComms
Drop the transcript on Message Review and it reads the conversation in the order the messages were sent, then charts it week by week.
We made a made-up transcript and ran it through Message Review on this site. It read all 8 messages, word for word, from March 2 to March 6, none left out.

What your lawyer sees
Not covered in coParenter’s help.
coParenter’s help center does not describe a way for your lawyer to see your account. The professionals it describes are its own, reached through Get Help in the app.
Send them the PDF.
coParenter sends the transcript to you. To share it, send your lawyer the PDF itself.
Get Help sessions stay out.
In Get Help, one of coParenter’s professionals coaches you, alone or with your coParent. coParenter says messages exchanged there
can not be requested
.
If you use CustodyComms, the desktop app reads the same transcript, and Evidence Edition exports your messages as one Bates-numbered PDF. From a Message Review, choose Share with your attorney and enter their email address.
