Exporting from AppClose

CustodyComms imports the PDF that AppClose creates when you export a chat.

Export from AppClose

  1. Open the chat in the AppClose app.
  2. Tap the down arrow next to the member name.
  3. Tap "Export" and choose the date range you need.
  4. Save the PDF to your computer. If AppClose sends it by email, download it from the email.

Import into CustodyComms

  1. Open CustodyComms and click "Import Messages" in the left sidebar.
  2. Under "Where are your messages from?", click "AppClose".
  3. Click "Choose File" and pick the PDF.
  4. Map the participants and complete the import.
Pick AppClose first, then use "Choose File". A PDF dragged onto the screen can be added as a document instead of being read as messages.
